The Poisoning

Redesigning the Past for a Contemporary Cause
This project reimagines an existing design, connecting it to a relevant contemporary issue, product, or form of entertainment such as television, film, or magazines. For this iteration, the focus is on polar bears and the gas and oil industry, using design to highlight the intersection of environmental concerns and modern industry. The visual inspiration draws from the iconic poster for Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, designed by renowned graphic designer Saul Bass, featuring a pointillist impression of a terrified child’s face within the letter “T” of the film’s title.
